Bill Royer

On February 25, 2005, Bill Royer was riding his bike about 20 yards from turning right onto the country road that would have taken him home when he was hit by a truck.  Bill loved cycling.  At the time of his crash, he was training for a 100 mile “Century” ride.  Him and his family loved sharing Tour de France updates during work and having watch parties on the weekends.  Bill was enjoying a happy retirement after caring for his wife until her death. He was in excellent health and his family expected to have many more years with him in their lives.  He is missed every day.
