Morgan Suter

About Morgan

Morgan Suter grew up in Frederick, Maryland where she lived with her parents, Angela and William Suter, along with her siblings, Courtney and William (Hunter) Suter. In 2018 the family moved to Hagerstown, Maryland. Morgan’s family was an especially important part of her life. She could be found at every sporting event supporting and cheering for her niece, Alyson Grimes (who called her Sis), and nephew Conor Grimes (who called her Mimi). She loved her niece and nephew and always treated them as her own.

Morgan was always the life of the party and a friend to all. She had an enthusiastic personality and would go out of her way to make you laugh. She worked as an infant teacher with KinderCare Childcare Center for seven years. While she did not have children of her own, she loved every baby that entered her classroom, and she treated them as if they were hers. She will be missed by her entire KinderCare family including coworkers, parents, and children.

Morgan enjoyed a beautiful sunflower field, hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities.  She also enjoyed trips to Ocean City and Alpine Lake. Morgan always looked forward to her frequent “Girls Trips” with the ladies of her family. She would also be found reading her novels and shopping online.

Crash Story

On October 3, 2024 shortly after 5 p.m., Morgan was driving on Interstate 70 in heavy traffic.  A tractor trailer coming up behind the congestion failed to slow for the traffic hitting the back of Morgan’s car, then pushing it into several other vehicles.  Morgan died at the scene.

Life After the Crash

Morgan’s family’s lives have changed tremendously after the crash. The family had an incredibly strong bond and now they have lost the light of their family.  Everyone has been affected by losing her from struggling to properly grieve and just adjusting to life without her. Their mission is to be her voice, share her story, and connecting with other people who have lost someone in this way.  They hope to bring positive change to help prevent other families from experiencing this type of loss.
